The staff was patient, helpful, and unobtrusive. Got a decent room that was clean and had a good variety in the minibar that was included.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still acceptable.

Put this on your radar
We had a delightful experience! The friendly staff were always available and the location couldn't be better – just a short walk from major attractions. Enjoyed the free snacks and drinks, along with the spacious and cozy room. Minor hiccup with thin walls and noise levels, but overall a charming stay!

Had an amazing time with friends exploring local theatre and dancing to a DJ session. The location is fantastic for visiting major spots like Sagrada Familia and Montjuïc mountain. The hotel feels cozy and had everything we needed, including a comfortable room and friendly staff. Highly recommend for a group vacation!
The breakfast definitely needs improvement. The dining area felt cramped and food refills were slow, which was a letdown during our stay.

Great location near La Rambla and Placa de Catalunya made exploring Barcelona so easy. The room had a cool vibe with stylish decor and comfortable bedding. Loved that the minibar was included. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helped with any questions I had. However, the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear conversations from the hallway and noise from the street outside. The shower design was quirky but sometimes inconvenient. Breakfast had limited options, which felt a bit lacking for a hotel of this category. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but wished for a sturdier barrier against the noise and a better breakfast variety.

Perfect Spot for Exploring Barcelona
Just returned from a 3-night stay, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere nearby! The friendly staff made us feel welcome, and we loved the cozy local restaurants available within walking distance. The sound isolation could improve, so plan for some noise at night. Consider opting for a room away from common areas for more peace.

I appreciated the cleanliness and the nice bathroom during my stay. The staff at reception were helpful and made everything smoother. I found it convenient to have a microwave to use. Having a supermarket nearby was great for quick snacks. The venue's location allowed easy access to nearby cultural spots, making exploration simple.
The shower in the bathroom needed attention. There was no regular-sized trash can in the room.

Great location and stylish decor
I had a wonderful time, especially enjoying the chic decor and vibrant colors throughout the place. The location was perfect—close to La Rambla and many great dining options, making it easy to explore the city. However, the room's soundproofing could be improved as I could hear noise from the hallway.

The location of the property close to the
Ramblas and a hidden gem of the bohemian Ravel district was a true find. A great base to explore the city from. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but the staff could have been more engaged.

Nice bathroom facilities.
I was appalled by the unfriendliness of the front desk staff. Instead of a warm welcome, we were met with indifference, which really set a bad tone for our stay. Every interaction felt forced, and it was frustrating having to extract basic information from them. On top of that, having to pay upfront was just another reminder of how poorly we were regarded as guests.

Barcelona's bustling streets are a treasure trove of culinary gems. I couldn’t get enough of the mouthwatering delights at Teresa Carles and the juicy burgers from El Club De La Hamburguesa, both just a hop away from the hotel! The hotel itself had a stylish vibe and clean touches that made my stay enjoyable.
On the flip side, I had a little tussle with room service—housekeeping kept swooping in when I wanted peace and quiet. That pesky ceiling light was more of a disco ball flicker.

My recent stay at Chic&Basic Reding was good! The clean rooms and fantastic location near La Rambla made exploring Barcelona a breeze. Although the breakfast needed more variety, the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere created a cozy getaway. I'd definitely return!
